Yeah how're you guys doing thanks for tuning in on another video I'm over here with buddy Doug hey Doug's here we're gonna go camping so what's the plan for today we're gonna find somewhere to camp mm-hmm we're gonna set up a cool shelter I gotta go you gotta go we got goat yeah well we got some tarps.

Each of us so probably dig down set up a nice little enclosed space how far in front circulate the warmth that should be a good day it's nice and bright and early I think it's just after 8:00 in the morning yeah so got lots of time to do it as a beautiful day Suns starting to poke up too so good yeah you gotta get the last.

Word this is kind of nice over here so nice little clearing a lot of wood right surrounding it but I imagine in this clearing the snows gonna be a touch deeper that'll be more to shove below it so we'll keep looking potentially but because it's so clear I'm wondering if there's gonna be a bunch more snow to.

Dig out probably wouldn't be wouldn't be a deal-breaker well let's go over to that hill and check it out I don't want to go any farther really all big little hair tracks firewood for days you must be in a wind alley look at all these tops of the trees just snapped completely off really yeah.

All in the same direction to go refine their sleds you happy with this spot thank you why yeah no deadfall cool okay there's actually decent firewood right there I'm sure we'll have no no problem finding some yeah cool I'm really happy with this spot as well we do have to go find our our sleds now like I was saying but shouldn't be too big of a deal it's.

Uh it's no one it's so much fun so just walking back right now just welcome back to get the sleds should be a fun trip I'm happy to have dug up here he hasn't been around I've had him up in a while having camp to come in a while so should be a fun time it's nice to have someone to camp with they're there hello boys.

 so we left my host this morning temps were negative eight Celsius but I think it's supposed to get up what PI is negative 2 or negative 3 Celsius today and then only down to 12 tonight which is not that so yeah layers once again I think the idea is to dig down this is our back because there's a little bit of.

An incline here maybe even route it this way so we have a fire it this way clear that away should be pretty good facing there cool all right so we're back in the spot that we're gonna set up camp I think where the camera is right now is gonna be the back wall we're gonna aim it out towards the trail so we're in out with the with firewood.

Do it again so you tell the size of the pit that Doug's in now if you were to do if you had to do like an emergency-type shelter in the snow you would do like half the width of that lay down and the oh look at the model vana beetle it up line it with boughs put sticks over top boughs over top snow over top when we leave a little small little gap to get.

Out and create body warmth that way leave it very small but we're not going to do that that peasant life in the snow here you okay  there you go she's a bedroom that's nice  okay we figured out what we're gonna do with.

The shelter dogs get your snow shoes back on we're both going to go separate ways to get some materials we need a bipod for the front and a big long ridge Pole and slant the roof fold down to the back and then tuck our tarps over top and underneath and hopefully have a birdie pretty cool and close shelter the fire in front it will look pretty cool.

And I think it'll be efficient to bipod the front pull leaning down tar Pete's way back his clothes besides your clothes fronts open fires here tarp is just back from the fire hey fam son awesome  so we going down falling out of control all right let's go let's go.

 lunch break got some shaved turkey with my carrot wrap and spinach and mustard meat wrapped in cheese wrapped in meat I haven't had any um dairy for two months now no that's not true I do you some dark chocolate how do you live without cheese.

Probably eating cheese and oh my goodness milk was a big one I used to eat cereal every day for breakfast a nut cheerios everybody every day of my life really yep anymore the window some kindling a be displayed dang snow machines the best begin those crazy exhaust like the did you seen this pops like that.

So we've decided we figured out what chip it yeah we each have a 10 by 10 tarp bushcraft outfitters tarp Doug's got a ripstop one I've got a steel nylon one I figure if we both tie the outside tabs to the ridgepole on either side we're gonna have plenty it's gonna come down tuck around and then on my side - and then we'll be prepared for any type.

Of snow that comes on plus it just looks really cool right that's what it's all about really about the look the aesthetics of the whole thing we didn't have matching tarps very disappointed now it should be good we're gonna stop and short though because the fire is gonna be sitting right in front of us here so we don't want the fire.

Directly under the tarps but enough that will reflect back underneath and keep us warm keep this warm just gonna bury under in the tuck in the snow and bury we both got Vivi's throw the babies down and it doesn't matter if you're on the snow or I think I actually do have a ground tarp too lots of talks going.

These big logs into the ground up up up right tie it off to those on both sides and then we both rolled a big heavy log inside the tarp to keep it in place that bipod up there is quite long or quite tall I mean yeah we can hang our meat in and food and stuff that we're cooking off of right off that bipod so it's pretty handy.

Pretty pretty handy criticize this thing okay we like it can you tell we like it do the Rockaway that Doug's tying the ridgeline or we're sorry Ridge pull up to the bipod probably not necessary like he's saying but hawai not we got the extra rope there which we could have used for hanging our leg of goat goat neck roast you and I camera hey.

Slush in there in a little bit of water but that will help the rest of the snow melt quicker too I just I needed some some water some drink and water Oh much debris my wind is kicking up pretty good see that what gets a little bit lower we can tank that beat we're good.

That's almost enough though to me the roast but I think I think hopefully we just take slices off the edges like Oh  got a slight problem here with the roast I didn't realize it's tied together so the strings are definitely going to burn off and it will probably drop it so I'm gonna have to get it out maybe even cut.

The strings off to see what we got just so we know how to hang it but I like to hang it for a while so either we gotta rig something up but if it's gonna fall apart what I'm not looking at it then I want to be sure that it's good to hang so I'm just gonna dig right into it see what we got still beaten.

He's a frozen pretty frozen on the inside I think it's probably safe to hang for a little bit okay I don't know I not touched it I don't know sure isn't wrapped up its wrapped that's the problem just let's just take it apart okay he's going to cut these strings right now no sense in hanging it if it's gonna fall apart off what's those thing.

It'll be nice walk you know might not even have to put snowshoes on depending what is that is that your yes the whole thing is espresso so you cannot can you dilute that with something or no like if I mix that with I got tiny bit of that with some chaga so it's got a filtered right it's not working oh yeah drink that up either right okay no my face is.
