Hey guys blackops violin today I have a awesome new product I just received and I'm super excited about it and it is the Hedgehog leather works se5 sheath and it's a scout carry scout carry if you don't know this whenever you carry your knife that's in your back and I really do dig dig that type of carry more than anything if you know me.

You check out the site and see what we do I'm always talking about how I love scout carry one main reason is because one carry my firearm like a pistol it's not you know a knife berkel knife sheath hangs right here right besides your pistol so it's kinda in the way or has too much weight in one area because I'm right-handed you know there's no reason.

We care of my knife ammo on my left hand side so being here and I have a pistol right here makes it a lot easier for me or for carry especially when I'm hunting and stuff like that but uh the other thing that you know some sometimes there's a problem with scout carries that you're carrying a backpack and it may weigh down on it you know but you.

Just adjust your straps let your pack it higher your pack should be hiring your back anyway to Center your load on your shoulders but uh let's go ahead and get into the details of this sheath show you some up-close pictures of it as well alright guys so this is the se5 sheath by Hetch our leather works and you can see the logo stamped in the back right.

Here and it's double snap and they're super strong you know black military style snouts and I think they're one directional so they won't come open unless they go this way in the center as a pouch here and has that post and hole with a leather strap across here to keep that flap down has that nylon strap system that you can pull out and as.

Included as a fire steel striker and a piece of jute twine for tender and we use that in a minute and use this fair rod on it so you see that and I'll talk about the fair rod in just a minute where am I getting ready to start the fire but it has also the rapid release retention strap so whenever you hit that we pull that it goes out of the way so.

Didn't really want you doing that because it wasn't built for that knife you know it could mess up the sheath over time but this is specifically built for the SC 5 and and I know that a lot of people were wanting a SC 5 sheath from Hedgehog because you know it's one of the most popular survival knives on the market but uh he finally made one.

And finally got one out there but a super thick leather there and you know everything is it's just perfect I mean you can't even find a stitch that didn't exactly the same as other and this is double stitched thick leather there a lot of good oils and stuff to give it that deep rich color but uh let's go ahead and start off our with this fire.

Steel alright guys let's go ahead and get some of this g twine from the side of the pouch and going to split this up Chi Chuan makes an excellent fire starter you know you can use it for the fair seem rods or bow drills pans reels whatever trying to fire techniques but this spare fearsome rod that comes with.

This kid it's one of the best that I've seen it's super thick it's three eighths by three inches and it comes with a knurled handle so let's just go ahead and strike that right there comes with a knurled handle so you have a sure grip and it has this elastic keeper here make sure it stays in place in case you know you do wear it down.
