What's going on guys black Scouts survival and today I got a proper review for you and this is the battle horse knives Highlander h1 this knife is a oh one tool steel it has a five inch cutting edge and a ten inch and 1/8 overall length this model I got has the blackened blade which is a gun blue finish I also got the polished handles.

And polished handles looked really good and I was a little worried when ever I seen them I thought you know they might be kind of slick but I'm telling you they're very very grippy very very grippy now this side knife is based on a French trade design you see here and it has a some chipping right here at the thumb but I tell you what I really like.

This knife so I got the natural handles and I have some green spacers in between the lime green space was really kind of set it off you know having such a natural looking knife and this knife we used to you know process we're going to use to process a 1 1 log fire I got a little chunk of log and we're gonna make a fire and that's been raining use a got.

My tarp up to protect my camera equipment also been wearing a rain jacket most of the morning so it's been raining my woods wet and my cedar I got some cedar bar to use this tenner that's super wet too so we're going to try to play with and try to get a fire started see if we can so stick with us and let's check it out.

So guys you've seen the Highlander h1 and you know doing some work man I'm telling you I ran through that see that Seeger was hard season cedar busted through some knots and you know she's that sharp spine spit sparks like no other so very very good I do like the blued blade being a ones whose tool still I do assume that's going to help.

It with a you know corrosion resistance but you can kind of see those green spacers close up and it has a good pointy tip you know that's gonna be good for a lot a lot of different application where you need to do some fine tasks so I do like that sharp point there now looking at the sheath this is a kind of hybrid design.

Between leather and Kydex and I like leather mainly because of the waist portion hanging off my waist so they pretty much figured that out and made a hybrid sheets where it combines both but has a fair rod holder there now something really cool is that it has a locking pin there so the knife son won't come out no matter how much you pull it.

And so you can kind of graduate that retention for however much you like it has a great fit good look and a nice size belt loop but anyhow guys that is the highlander h1 from battle horse knives go over there and check them out man I really dig this knife and you know we did a scout platoon video a few weeks ago and it was also performed great so.
