It is currently 4 30 in the morning we have got one hell of a storm brewing out the background there the boys are getting the boat ready right now we're going out wide we're chasing something that we're doing a little bit of fishing today that we don't really usually do but i used to do this a lot.

And um i miss it man so i was jigging deep water jigging we're going to be fishing in around 200 250 meters of water today hopefully chasing dog truth tuna ruby snapper flame tail all of those beautiful five class top top shelf eating fish so i am super bloody excited about this.

Morning i've been waiting to do this kind of fishing for a long time but it's hard to get the weather and everything line up so the roosters were just going off their heads before like actually like now as soon as i started filming they stopped but it's actually quite funny all right.

I'm gonna go jump on this boat and um look at this man there are tripwires everywhere oh geez have a go at this it is an absolute bloody glorious morning right now that sun's just come up it's actually a pretty big steam out here windy it was rainy it's still raining right now but.

Yeah absolutely beautiful so this is the new boat we're on this is the big dog big boat new crew here's the boys they're already out there yeah the boys who's gonna get the first fish okay all right let's do this drop this big jig down that's a 250 gram jig and now we're in.

200 meters of water so let's see what we can pull up frothing fizzing oh yeah the first fish of the day that's a kilowatt yeah grouper beautiful little groper yeah doggy ew look at that rainbow that means good luck doggies we are going to be on.

Got one fish in the boat already oh windscreen wipe right here here here that's sick let's go come on come on come on oh no let's go rain's gone away sun creams come out to play jumpers off let's go this is exciting have a look at that backdrop man it's so beautiful really really sick come on big dogs.

Yep coming all right the captain has just hooked up to an absolute donkey of a fish whew ah let's go have a look at this thing looks like a big dog go brah yeah can you help me yeah yeah i'm in music here.

All right usually i wouldn't fight someone else's fish but i can't handle it but the captain's got to use the boat engine to steer us in the current so a little bit of a dog axe we'll get him up hey hey man thanks man good morning that's.

Your fish at least we got a look you know yeah based on man first fish first wheel fish no york is the first fish wow this reel is beautiful i'm going to get one of these okay so there you go bro hey it's actually like a big thing in.

The fishing game if you bring someone else's fish in it's like a dog act but he needed help there so that's what i did but anyway that fishing rod that he's using is a proper jigging reel i'm using i'm using this so this is like an egg beater an egg beating reel on a jigging rod.

He's got a proper jigging rod and a proper jigging reel and that thing is so beautiful to use i'm actually glad i did bring that fish up because i reckon i'm going to buy myself one of them now that was a pleasure to use this thing you just get a broken back sore arms.

We're fishing in 200 to 250 meters of water so i've got 300 i've got 50 meters left on that spool before i've got no lines so that thing there was an absolute dream to use might be my next purchase all right so basically what we're doing out here we're dropping these jigs all the way to.

The bottom you let it hit the bottom and then you bounce it up 15 20 meters you just keep repeating that process until you get that big boom so it's a little bit of a workout it's super fun um i can't really talk i don't have a fish on the board yet but it's super fun way to fish and um.

Now i'm just obsessed with that reel over there come on big dogs oh all right the captain is on again and this is a horse it looks like a big big big big dog so check it out captain that's the lucky rod i'm telling you.

Right now what's up man oh that's a good fish beautiful there it is that is a beautiful fish yeah big amberjack yeah doggy doggy good job hold on what a day now i'm gonna go get myself a fish.

Because it's two two one zero that's all right i gotta put my i gotta put my ass into gear here this is so epic so we've just seen a massive school of tongkol yes obviously the currents picked up like crazy so check the water out first this is the current right now there's big eddies everywhere it's super sketchy.

The boat's like fully moving like this in the water crazy current but in the current you get these fish for the tonko we call them like a mac tuna in australia there there was heaps of them so what we're doing now the captain's got a fishing rod with like 500 little skirt lures on it.

And he's just trolling like a whole line of these little skirts through this crazy water and we're going to see if we can pick up a couple of con coal like that and if he does stop and pick him up boom i'm going straight out with a noodle rod we'll see if we can hook up with one on the noodle rod because.

It's all about the noodle rod now man it's all about the noodle rod i can't see them usually there's just big silver flashes on the surface maybe they've gone deep we'll see we'll see when we're pulling this line this is sick but absolutely epic ah there's so many out there but it's just too sketchy to take the boat if you.

Guys can see over there it's like big troughs big big eddies just spinning like it's actually like a drain like it circulates like this and sucks water down so it's a little bit too dangerous out there for right now but there are heaps and also there's a little marlin swimming around like maybe five seven kilo marlin.

You can just see his fins slicing through the water like this just in the shell just in the water here on the edge of the big current so i've been throwing the noodle rod at it but imagine that that would be amazing but um i don't know what we're going to do now we're just waiting for the ties to turn so.

We're kind of just chilling having fun i don't know flavor noodle rod sessions yes see you guys in the noodles bending yeah that's a fish jesus look at this oh this is the noodle rod sessions the captain's still got his on oh i just got snapped off.

All right let's go see what the captain got no man that thing was railing me dude oh my goodness dude the noodle rod is so much fun all right noodle rod the noodle rod always puts this on the board why he's going to go deep i can't stop it.

That's what i just lost a rainbow runner yeah boys yeah how good is it tell you what mate when everything is quiet you just get the noodle rod out and it just makes a slow day into an amazing day i'm gonna chuck another lure on here because i just got absolutely railed look at that nothing left it's all about.

The noodle rod doggies please be a rainbow runner boy good morning again what is going on doggies good morning for the second time in one video all right you're probably wondering to yourself right now phil day what are you even doing mate you were two seconds ago you were getting your ass busted.

On the noodle rod and now you're um you're back at the harbour so what's happening okay so yesterday we had a massive gopro malfunction i have no idea what happened i don't even know if i've got that footage so um i please i hope that footage is there because there's some sick footage of the noodle rod getting.

Its ass handed to it but um yeah yesterday gopro just went completely haywire and i don't know it just wouldn't work so hopefully we got the footage from yesterday but we are back at the harbour we're going back out fishing again i do have something very exciting very new that i want to show you guys as well so.

Today is going to be a good day it's an exciting day hopefully the gopro doesn't wig out like it did yesterday and um let's go back out to the big blue ocean and have one hell of a day i've got something very exciting to show you guys and um i don't know i think it's going to be a bloody good day so let's get it.

It is currently currently four o'clock in the morning so a little bit but two hours before the sun rises and we should be out there for sunrise so this is going to be good man all right here we go we are on location the sun has just come up things are looking beautiful.

That right there is a 500 gram jig half a kilo jig and the exciting thing that i wanted to tell you guys is this little baby right here see this reel you know yesterday i was using the captain's reel and i fell in love with it i had to get mine on the way home so.

The absolute legend is what we come for mommy hey doggies that's cute all right so this is the exact fish that we've come out to target today it looks like your standard goldfish is having a fish tank but way bigger way more beautiful and it is one of the best tasting fish.

In the sea that is an absolute donkey look at the size that on my hand beautiful fish that's so nice now i just got to get my own one and that is a banging fish hey doggy hey you're filming me i'm from a new year i'm filming your fish this isn't even my fish.

Jesus beautiful fish bud look at it i'm gonna get my fish all right so i'm dropping down right now about 150 meters 170 meters of line so that reel that i got is a new ocean  3000 with a jigging master rod it is so nice it's a massive difference compared to.

That spinning route i was using the other day yesterday this thing's a dream boat we just got to get a fish on it all right quick change of plans this water looks absolutely amazing to get a couple of gts off it so quickly throw a few poppers around and we'll get back to jigging.

Dust good fish yes oh no this is a good fish so we've just pulled up on a little bit of ground here we started throwing poppers in like five minutes eh five minutes boom he's already onto a nice gt here listen to the drag this is yes good fish huh.

With a hook tape taped on the end it's actually pretty effective we've got the fish in but here we go they are getting so much bigger man this one's a little bit better there's a big dog this isn't the fish that i came out to target i'm coming out to target ruby.

Snapper and doggies but i will take this any day of the week smashed it that's a 300 gram jig on the new rod very very happy right now yeah that is a beautiful fish and this is a bloody beautiful rod frothing man this is what i live for right now good captain.

Yeah you're on oh man this is out of control literally nearly every drop we're getting a fish now captain's on in the background look at him right there this is so sore this is sick man super fun come on what have we got here oh it's a.

Beautiful fish ready there we go look at that there's another one straight out of 100 meters of water boom on the same jig same as this hooks so see you still on well you got an amberjack two amberjacks on the boat this is ridiculously fun.

Beautiful fish so there they are it's my fish captain's fish 300 gram 200 gram air pick some the amberjacks beautiful fish ew this is on fire out here hey it's his secret spot so i can't show you the land over there look how beautiful it is out here.

Another drop another fish his face is out of control but it's a secret hey boss this one's only a little pop but it's still good fun and they absolutely smash these jigs all right so this is a little bit interesting here's the fish that we just.

Got then that's a little bit of a smaller one probably around i don't know 60 centimeters or something but if you look at the size of that jig these fish are actually eating that thing it's nearly the size of the fish super aggressive but what's dope is have a look at that.

This fish has been attacked by a shark or something a lot bigger on the way up so there's big fish down there the captain just lost an absolute horse so maybe it was a shark or a dog's big dog tooth tuner look at that big cuts there sliced there poor little fella there you go little fish still smashed 300 gram massive jigs.

So fun so beautiful have a look at this little fella that there is called that there is called a charlie court and i'm not even joking that jig is about the same size as the fish that's how ferocious and hungry and vicious they are but we're fishing in about 150.

70 meters here so that's a little charlie court beautiful fish beautiful eating fish as well i think the current has just slowly started changing so as soon as our current changes the fish go off the bite so that's why we're picking up these fish are not those big beautiful fish anymore but.

Still a nice little fish beautiful colors on him hey little charlie man what a sick session i just ended the session on that beautiful little charlie court and um that is it from us we've got to head in now it's just it's just about lunch time so.

That was a quick little power session for the morning to make up for yesterday's mishap um i haven't even seen the footage from yesterday so i don't know if i got all of the um moodle rod session but that was one of the best noodle rod sessions i've had in my life.

Fingers crossed it's all there because the gopro had a complete wig out yesterday so i really really hope it's there it was like drop bang drop bang drop bang heaps of heaps of tonka heaps of rainbow runner amazing session and then just to put the icing on the cake we came out here tested out the new rod it.
