You what's up guys black scout survival and today I got something pretty cool for you guys to look at what I have here is the Air Force escape-and-evasion kit and it's a two part kit it's actually a three part kits and the third part is a cat tourniquet but what we have here is two different modules we have a medical.

Module and a survival module and this is part of the Air Force pilot survival kit and this is like I said the escape-and-evasion version so if this is all you got it pretty much tries to cover up cover all your needs but it constantly steel steel packets and you'll notice these grommets erica's typically on pilot survival gear.

Everything is like tethered to them our dummy quarter to them in case you know they lose everything or it comes out it's still connected to them so they don't drop it but I like the way this design is set up so let's go ahead and pop these open and let you guys take a look at them we're going to start off looking at the medical module.

So you tear this open and then you have another brown bag and these barcodes are just for the scanning of the four supply to you know keep track of everything and we have some electrolyte powder sub bugs toilette sun protection QuikClot combat gauze there's a good good items some bandages hmm the bzk antiseptic towelettes good for.

Cleaning wounds a couple more smaller band-aids and H&H compression gauze some this is like the tape that like sticks to itself cleanly the type of clingy tape and this is an ACU pattern a couple safety pins and the last the last and the kid is the Sai loom safety and survival light stick and basically this is a chem light of this plastic sleeve.

With cordage and so basically this is the SOS marker used to make the buds buzzsaw signaling technique if you don't know what that is I'll put a link to a video showing what that is and how to do that below but very cool you know so you got another signaling item in this kit as well a lot of good stuff and with a catty tourniquet like I said that comes.

With the kit as well but it comes separate from the kit so you have it like already out so you don't have to digging anything to get to it because if you have a arterial bleed you want to stop that pretty quick so this is pretty good medical module but uh that's what is in that section so we'll go ahead and look at the survival now now we're.

Diving into the survival module same thing tear open that package you got to inter package we have some wet fire tender cubes good and compact for the you know what it is some aqua mira water purification tablets of liters ten of those have a camo cravat this is a ACU coloured cravat or triangle bandage I'm guessing for you know obviously wound.

Management or to camouflage a pilot's head neck or whatever ultimate survival technology star flash signal mirror this is also what we use in the Marine Corps kit and Acme whistle small compact whistle to IR patches there's also these little finger lights and you can see there's a red annotation here let you know this is the red light.

So you know don't want to hurt your night vision or giveaway but these things like velcro to your fingers so you can work kind of like this but I thought I thought this was cool um this one is IR I'm not sure if you can see that you can't really see IR but I can see it just a little bit but and I are like two for night vision those you some.

Night vision goggles the scent is interesting a handcuff key you get the P for squirt Leatherman I thought that was a good nice addition to the kit so it's good a good quality small multi-tool and the last thing you get is this match case here and you've got a mirror on the inside of the cap this is pretty cool here it's a sin to.

Compass like the one you have on your watch band so I thought that was a pretty cool item because these are phenomenal compasses so and then the inside of here on the bottom you also have a flint striker the rest of the match case contents you have a spark light fire starter and you also have some good quality matches and a striker.

There so overall very good contents of both modules the medical and the survival now I'm not sure if you pick this up yet but I'm just going to give you just a minute to or you seconds can you tell me what's not in this kit that's in most all survival kits so go ahead and drop down and leave your comment right now and then we'll come.

Back you more missing from the kit is shelter and cordage now the reason why that is is because the pilots and aircrew personnel are trained in using the parachute in a multitude of different things for survival a lot of those being shelter and it's filled with 550 cord so what.

They're taught to do is actually cut up the chute and the cords and use for that so that's why it's amended from that kid to keep the package down you already got it if you if you hit the ground without the parachute you're not going to need the survival kit anyway right anyhow this is a comprehensive kit so the pilots only have these two kits with.

Them they also have a bunch of other gear as well and this is like their last-ditch escaping a bayesian kit so anyway I like the lowdown I think it's pretty good I definitely like I like the medical is very good as well and it includes the survival module included a great compass to Suunto and then it also included a Leatherman so I thought you.
