Something i always like to take with me in the field is flagging tape there's a few reasons why i want i can mark a trail so that way i know which direction i'm going uh if i'm on a in a new area i can mark a trail for my buddies if they're with me that way they can.

Find where i am if we're going to somewhere to camp let's say i'm in a survival situation and i have to make a self-rescue and have to move from the location that i was at i can mark a trail so search and rescue teams can find me the other thing i can do is when i put on a tree and tie it up.

Leave it long so it kind of blows and gives that movement there but i can also write the time and date that i pass through this area so 7 30 21 at 9 00 45 a.m that way they know the time and date i passed through this area at that time so they know.

They can calculate by foot how far i went if they reach this point
