What's going on guys black Scouts survival and today I got a knife review for you and this is the SE knives 3 and the main reason for this review is because the knife connection handles this is the compact 3 & 4 compact handles and I hadn't reviewed the S III on here per se in a field setting I did I did review my alumni knife that.

I got whenever I took one of their advanced survival classes out there but this handle and I want to I want to do the knife for review as well but the review is really going to be about the handles but anyhow just if you're not for me with the S III it's a small fixed blade night knife it's not their smallest fixed blade but it used to be.

So they had those ulla and stuff like that can to ruin things like that now but uh kind of you know thin profile there it's got a three point three eight inch blade with the powder coating on it black powder coating it's kind of you know a thinner knife but it's still very tough you've seen the tip strength test it's got some champing here and got a.

Small small small finger choil there anyhow moving on to the the handles you've seen a knife connection review of the handles i did before for the SE four and it had a butt section that came off the rear and totally covered the pommel there now this this compact handle does not it leaves that exposed pommel and the rear.

Back here and which would would it what that did was allow them to make better rounded palm swells that fills the hand you know from this being such a small knife I mean it really feels that hand I'm not sure if you can see there but for having such thin knife has very very good handles and for being such a small knife it doesn't feel like a small knife.

You know it feels like it can you know capable of doing some very heavy duty work but it's got contouring so there's no abrupt edges like the standard factory se flat slab Mike two handles or g10 handles are flat and then would you know very define ledges on it so this is completely contoured and smooth in the hand and you know easy.

To make transitions with as well but it also you know this exposed pommel makes for a very you know good looking handle as well the other thing about the g10 it's very textured so it's not smooth like a lot of g10 is very texture so it's very grippy so even if your hands are wet you know it's gonna you know hold very well like right now it's very.

Extremely cold out here right now in my hands are you know having trouble I've been wearing gloves but even with that it's still very grippy in the hand it does come with new hardware obviously because the sc3 slabs are flat so it has different length pins in here and it gives you instructions on how to put those in but to me I highly recommend.

Getting the upgrade and the S III has always been a great knife I've had you know tons of essays over the years and they never disappoint not connection has a huge variety of different you know types of essays and colors and things like that and you know if you break it SE they'll send you a new one it doesn't matter if you put it in a vise and cut.
