Voted for that um includes incentive for states to pass a so-called red flag law so basically they're bribing states to do this that allow groups to petition courts to remove weapons from people deemed to be a threat to themselves or others um the bill also supposedly closes.

What's known as the boyfriend loophole essentially that if you're in a relationship that's that you're not married and you get a domestic dispute charge you cannot have a weapon now the clause on that is that you can regain your firearm ownership rights after five years um.

And then another big thing is gun buyers under age of 21 would face enhanced background checks under the bill they would be subject to be an elongated three-day initial review uh process to juvenile mental health records including checks with state databases local law enforcement if that initial.

Review process turns up anything of concerned buyer would have to undergo an additional review process spanning up to 10 days so basically what that means is that you post anything online that you could be flags you know red flag laws and and these sort of things we're talking about 21 year olds because two two cats that.

Were 18 years old 18 year olds that did these shootings now we just have to punish everyone all these young men you know serving the military or what have your you know a young female that wants to protect herself you might have to go through all this uh red tape to get a firearm to defend themselves but they could go they could.
