What's up guys black Scout survival and today we're gonna be talking about the urban survival kit and you know some things are gonna be similar but some things are gonna be different from urban to wilderness environment and today when I say urban survival kit I'm going to be talking about your first line gear actual items are traveling your person.

Not in a bag or separated from you so these be items that you actually have when your personality everyday carry but I don't like the term everyday carry because everyday carry people start like having everything that matches and lots of Apple products on this kind of stuff so it kind of has went kind of a mainstreamer I would say and kind of off.

The survival or preparedness type deals so I'm gonna go over some items that I feel like are necessary and you know a lot of people say you know when you show them survival kits what other like we you should add this you should add that well when you start doing that you might as well just say you have everything so you can't carry everything with you you.

Have to you know rely on your skill sets if you know how to do something then why carry it if you you know have an item that's multiple use why carry that item versus item that has single-use so you also have to be resourceful in the urban environment there's a lot more things to your disposal than in a wilderness environment so let's go ahead and go.

Over each of these items alright guys let's just go over the items number one cell phone cell phone has a lot of different uses one communications if you can call someone to get you out of a situation why would you do that why wouldn't you do that versus you know trying to survive out an urban area cellphones don't work sometimes so then.

You can rely on text messaging but you know a lot of facets of that things that could happen to stop you from doing that the other thing can be used as a signal mirror and I'll put a link right here of a video showing you how to use your cell phone as a signal Aaron actually works better than a signal mirror so that's number one number two I'm not going to.

Break it out in the middle of public but a pistol if you're able to carry one in your state legally you know conceal weapon holder but also you want to keep extra magazine if not on your person at least in your second line gear your day bag you know keep it near to you the next thing one of the most critical things I think for an urban survival.

Scenario is a multi-tool and all these Brambleton tool I use is a Leatherman and I got a couple different models but I've tried other manufacturers and they just don't hold up to what Leatherman can do but this one here is the wave it has a pocket clip somewhere in my pocket like a tactical folder but also has blades that pop out and lock without.

Having to deploy the multi-tool but a lot of things can be done with a multi-tool I mean you can clean out animals you can fix stuff repair stuff so the next thing I'd say is a flashlight small flashlight you know you want something that is strong bright but also has a low light beam and if possible has a red light also this one.

There's a lot of models on the market that will off if I can get it do it but will also signal for you'll give the SOS strobe or whatnot and this one does that but so I can signal for help if need be the next thing and these are in no particular order these are just items that I'm gonna you know as figure out a carrier tell y'all to carry the next.

Thing it's lockpicks something small like these bogotá is here you know what we saw in our store they can get in about anything that you would most likely face you know so lock picks you can find items that you would help you in age you and your survival in an urban area the next thing obviously is cash my cash.

Because debit card systems could go down this is also off the book transactions nobody if you use cash won't be recorded so that's one another advantage to that the next thing is a big lighter fear serum rods are great and I use them a lot but in an urban situation the BIC would do most anything you needed to do it's a flame and you can light up.

Material that you find pretty much anywhere the next thing is the tactical folder and tactical folder can do some survival stuff but more than likely it's going to be using a self-defense role or just so everyday carry over you're cutting open boxes or whatnot but nothing real you know crazy outside of that I say a button compass for urban.

Navigation you can get these for your keychain you can get these for you know on your watch I this into core and has a compass on there you can also get the compass that running your watch like this or just you know keychain or just a small like this and put in your pocket to navigate because in the city navigating can you can kind of lose.

Track of where you're going because all the alleys and stuff you may be taking that way it gives you a cardinal direction of where you need to head now these items can be complemented with things in your you know second-line gear bag but these are just items I feel that are critical to have on your person and you know you could add a lot more stuff.

To it take away from it whatever basing your skill set if you don't have a good solid skill set you may want to add more items you know if you can't do a lot of things that a a skilled person can do you may want to add more items to supplement and there's nothing wrong with that she's something they have to do but check out black sky SOCOM for.
