Had a choice between Swiss Army knife in a multi-tool I'd rather have a multitude tool diplôme with this is waiting size obviously now I used to have I can't find it it's somewhere in my gear closet somewhere but I have a this Victoria Knox force Forster and it has a locking one hand opening blade a long saw and that kind of set the problem with it is.

This size it's like to me it's not really a pocketable knife and if I was going to carry something to carry Leatherman Wave instead because has a lot more features on it now this has a pocket clip so I can't carry to my pocket you know but to me a Swiss Army knife is a small functional knife that you kind of put in your pocket and.

Forget about and that that's kind of like my view on it you know MacGyver did a lot of things with these knives but in my opinion the two best is the farmer and the Swiss Army hiker now personnel I like the farmer just because it you know has the the a locks handles you know very durable tough knife it has a pin knife blade it has a all and the all.

Works fantastic as a Ferro rod striker it has a good salt on it and it has a teeth that rotate different sides works very well has a flat head with a bottle opener and then a can opener with a small flathead tip or Phillip LLL work for Phillips - so a lot of function has a lanyard there but I carry this one quite.

A bit like especially overseas places that you can't carry fixed blades or locking knives I'll carry this you know because the multi-tool does have locking blades but you know it will do the job it's lightweight you can carry this in addition with like something like if you're you know carrying a tactical knife like a [ __ ] Pesach Pierre.

Something like that and you don't want to use it for you like a crime better something you'd only use that as your utility knife so you'll carry something like this it kind of disappears in your pocket now the the hiker has a few additional tools then I like this better than the camper and I'll tell you why but they look pretty much identical but.

That the camper has a few tools that the farmer doesn't has a secondary blade a smaller pen knife blade a lot of people keep that and they'll keep that one razor sharp you know in case they got to do some kind of medical type stuff you also have the pin knife blade there you have the same soul as the farmer and you also have the bottle opener and can.

Opener in the two flat heads now this has a all with a hole in it versus to all that the the farmer has and that is good for actually repairing gear so you know you're you put your stitching in there and you can have you know made sheets and stuff with this all in that technique before so this works very well kind of like a speedy stitch type design.

So this is actually better and it will strike a Ferro rod and self-defense you know you don't want to be on the wrong side of that so then it also has a a good Phillips head screwdriver which I do like as well that this one does not so it has actual Phillips head on the back has the lanyard ring it also has small tweezers to get out.

Splinters and stuff like that and then it has the two tooth pick as well now to me my is on there these I would say this is more of an EDC type gig whereas this is more you know you're going camping hiking you know lightweight guys I know a lot of ultralight friends of mine they go ultralight they don't carry big.

Knives and stuff like that they'll carry just this and a big lighter they pretty much can you know handle everything they need to so these are the two that I really dig right here they said more EDC more wilderness type stuff and but like I said if I was to out carry a multi-tool you know because I wind up using these a lot these have scissors.
