Today we're going to be taking a look at this TR SC industries very proclaimed on Amazon survival kit for $26 so let's go ahead take a look at this TR SC industries or Tristan maybe I'm not really sure when the China's best 13 in a1 outdoor survival or mercy SOS kit this has got a whopping 445 reviews on Amazon with four and a half stars so.

This would be seem to be a great survival kit right it's $26 mmm I said 13 13 and one so we've got this Pelican style it's a lot cheaper stop it's not really Pelican it's a Plaskett plastic mimic of a pelican case okay so not a real pelican case I'd imagine it's gonna not be really water resistant because there is no oring there so it's not.

Gonna nothing there might be a little ring in there but it's it probably is not gonna have that water resistance that you would get from a pelican case right so we have an emergency blanket this is 130 by 210 centimeters we have a water bottle holder for your belt this wouldn't be what I would include in a survival kit to take up space but hey a.

Tactical pin and the titanium glass breaker they're bringing it in real quick yes a titanium glass breaker knurled it's a rotational ballpoint pen and we'll try to see if it rise really quick I mean a pinch should get a ride I'm sure the tungsten glass breaker will work so wax there okay so the pin works that's a plus the pit the.

Pin feels quality as you'd imagine almost tactical pins you know so let's say this is actually a pretty good decent decent pen a flashlight with a zooming feature now I've already looked at this it's pretty doggone horrible unless unless you have a zoomed in like this which doesn't give you a lot of throw but it's a pretty horrible.

Flashlight this whistle I'm not going to deafen you guys just take my word for it it is a loud whistle and it's like a little luminal one and you could tie it on the lanyard as well or this keychain so pretty good whistle for what it is okay so we've got a knife it's the carabiner style so that's how you hook it to yourself and tactical.

Folder says a little clip here it doesn't feel that great is actually pretty short though the handle doesn't fill we're good like as far as in your hand because I mean it is a carabiner but man it is actually a pretty pretty sharp knife no it's a little bit flimsy I don't know if I trust it for a lot heavy-duty use.

But it is a pretty pretty sharp knife for coming from a Chinese survival kit I'm actually pretty impressed and so the the lot back mechanism here now under hard use I don't think this would hold up because it's just a small screw pin here I'm holding it together but you know it is a pretty sharp knife for what it is I mean because that's the envelope.

It's not a single sheet of pay for some cutting through to two pieces you come saying we get a small little keychain EDC like man this thing is almost brighter than the dog on a bright as the flashlight so so pretty lonely if the keychain light does have that concert on I think that's kind of stupid to have that that redundancy here I'll play just.

Have one or two other I want to take a space with both like I said some of these items I just feel like it's kind of like a poor execution and a wilderness survival kit I don't know that I put a pen like this feels like an urban survival kit possibly but then it would be a completely different loadout alright so we have a compass here and.

This is a looks like a wet yes a wet compass rotational vessel now don't let the don't let the brass fixture fool you because it does like it would be like really old school type but it's actually a modern compass just in a different housing you know so let me go ahead and get my compass up and it will check to see if it's actually accurate and yep it.

Is accurate so good accurate compass very very good so I guess I will trust the compass doesn't have any bubbles it appears to be as appears to be luminescent as well so just in a weird case alright so getting down we have a wire Saul you know this is the commando wire saw pretty much you've seen one you've seen them all this is actually.

Just like what you would get in your British survival kit I think they're made in China anyway this is pretty good it's got swivels with rings actually a pretty pretty good rendition of the salt so happy with that I've got a very good size here Syrian rock the funny thing I always see about these Chinese kiss so they used the Bear Grylls knife fire.

Starter this is the one that goes into the handle I guess that they made that knife so they started thinking that that's how you make a fire steel what was actually just for that knife really you know it's kind of funny but anyhow so you got the two finger so a gross motor skill type movement and then scraper here will try something spear on.

Hole so we'll go ahead and check out a few of these items and actually use them and see how they they figured out this tool right here right so let's go and try this uh-uh-uh-uh-uh it actually is working pretty pretty good too I mean it's a little bit slow but yeah yeah pretty pretty pretty darn.

Good I'd say yeah not bad not bad you know I don't know about as far as the other tools on here they look pretty useless as other than the bottle opener maybe a little screw but at least you could pop a can of raviolis do wish there's like an inclusion of tinder in this kit you know that's a huge component in any survival kit as far as.

You know who needing something to make a fire because your life is in danger so we're good justice spear rod I do like that grip with a hand handle there it's those good sparks so a pretty good Ferro rod in the kit impressive pretty large-sized to a good scraper the straight brush has some measurement markings on it all right guys so my.
